One of the best ways to get a closer look at
the beautiful and scenic Gananoque area is by bicycle. Tour some of the
more intimate streets which accommodate many historical buildings and
parks. When visiting the busy waterfront area, you'll appreciate not
having your car with you in some cases. And our convenient location
provides immediate access to the 1000 Islands Parkway, which has a paved
bike path that runs its entire length.
The bike path has numerous rest areas as
well as a public beach area known as Brown's Bay. We suggest bring your
binoculars in order to see some of the famous attractions such as Dark
Island (shown below), as well as the breath-taking scenery provided by
